Fairly common

An aerial gleaner. Behavior characterized by strong, rapid flight as they forage for food. Gregarious; typically occurs in small, chattering flocks. In the Central Highlands area this species usually occurs near granite cliffs, such as in the Dells, or near mountainous cliffs. Rarely will you see this species outside its preferred habitat. It was difficult to establish a habitat type where cliffs occur, but typically the vegetation type in areas where there are Granite cliffs consists of pinyon and juniper trees.
